Hivos - The Body Shop 2003-2004

Portraits of four human rights activists for the poster campaign “The Body Shop and Hivos plead for human rights activists” in which attention was asked for the position of human rights activists. Hivos, together with Amnesty International NL was lobbying at the Dutch government, for the improvement of the position of these activists. The Body Shop supported this intiative. This campaign was part of the "Hear, See & Write" manifestation on human rights in December 2003 in The Hague, NL. The four activists visited The Netherlandse during this manifestation, having several meetings and seminars with the public.
In January and February 2004 the A0 and A3-size posters with the portraits of these activists were hanging in 22 franchise stores of The Body Shop in The Netherlands, to inform the public about human rights activists: who are these people and what are they doing.
